News bulletins run every half hour during the Kiss101 Breakfast Show with Matt Rogers & Caroline Cook…Containing National, Local, Entertainment & Sporting stories relevant to the Kiss format. Breakfast and Drive shows also provide Traffic & Travel information every hour.
 
Recent News Stories Covered  
Throughout the national knife amnesty, Kiss 101 has provided up to date stats and stories about the victims hit by knife crime in South Wales and the West. Reports have focused on how blades in schools and communities have wrecked the lives of kids in their teens. In entertainment news our audience focus has been on all the latest from the hip hop, dance and pop music scene, as well as up to date reports on the latest antics in the Big Brother House & the world of entertainment.

Automated Programming
Automation on Kiss is only in overnight shows – a total of 3 hours during the week called Non Stop Kiss and 3 hours on the weekend, hosted by Neev.

The amount of local programming per day produced by the station
7 hours per day at both weekdays & weekends. There are also various local specialist shows that make up a total of 57 hours a week.

Kiss 101 regularly supports many youth related charities and community help services. We are committed to supporting local authorities, educational bodies, and the emergency services wherever possible. Kiss 101 endeavors to support all local community events, across all arenas, throughout our transmission service area.

Recent Programme Highlights
Kiss 101 specialist line up boasts some key music genres & local DJ talent who all regularly play on the club scene across South Wales & the West. RnB & Hip Hop covered of by Raheem, whose show regularly features top urban musicians, MC's, and raw local talent. Big Al caters for the trance & hard dance market, which is hugely popular across our transmission area. Joe 90's infectious 'Future Boogie' show captures the cooler side of the bar & club culture in the area, and Gerard's 'Drive By' showcases our local, home-grown drum & bass talent.
