Bexley College

Bexley College is ready to offer training for the great Construction careers needed for the London 2012 Olympics. We are taking applications for apprenticeships, full time and part time courses in Bricklaying, Carpentry and Joinery, Plumbing, Heating & Ventilation, Electrical Installation and Welding- all trades that will be in demand to fill the thousands of Construction jobs that will be created.

But Bexley is more than skills for 2012. We offer courses in

And if you missed out on Uni we have lots of routes to Higher Education that won’t cost an arm and a leg- most courses are FREE if you are under 18, and we have flexible fee payment schemes if you are receiving benefits.

All our courses help you improve your basic skills, and if English is not your first language we can help you there as well. We have great facilities, including a Hair & Beauty salon, a fitness Gym, student refectories, a Nursery for pre school children and support funds for learners who are living on a budget.

Leaving school can be a confusing time – it’s brilliant to finally be able to throw away those books and be free of your school tie, but what do you do next?

However many GCSEs or A-Levels you’ve managed to pass, you’ve got dozens of options as a school leaver – so it’s no surprise that many 16 to 19 year-olds contact Coleg Gwent for advice on the next step for them.

Fortunately here at Coleg Gwent we have hundreds of learning opportunities at six campuses (in Newport, Crosskeys, Pontypool, Ebbw Vale, Usk and Abergavenny), so whatever your goals and abilities, we’re bound to have a course of study that suits you. We offer
